Yukon Chocolate Festival

Date: First Saturday in February

Satisfy your sweet tooth at the annual Yukon Chocolate Festival – Affair Extraordinaire. This indulgent festival hosts over 20 chocolate booths, a silent auction, and awards for best tasting chocolate and best booth décor!

Taste of Yukon

Date: Fourth Thursday in March

Location: 1200 Lakeshore Dr.

Hours: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Save up your appetite!  During this mouthwatering event, tickle your taste buds with signature dishes from over 20 local restaurants. From appetizers to main courses to desserts, Taste of Yukon is guaranteed to satisfy your hunger.

Yukon Senior Games

Date: April

Calling all adults 50 years of age or older! Give it all you’ve got in the Annual Senior Olympic Games! Yukon Senior Games offers an opportunity for everyone to participate with over 40 events in 13 categories.

Festival of the Child

Date: First Saturday in May

Location: 2200 S. Holly Ave

Hours: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

This award-winning, family-friendly festival is an event totally for kids! Over 50 areas of FUN include kayaking, pony rides, painting, wood art, storytelling, crafts and more! Over 40 volunteer organizations will be on hand to make this a fun and special day!

Freedom Fest

Date: July 3rd & 4th

Location: Chisholm Trail Park (Evening Activities), 500 W. Vandament and City Park (Daytime Activities), 2200 S. Holly Ave.

The annual celebration is held at Yukon City Park, 2200 S. Holly, and Chisholm Trail Park, 500 W. Vandament. Fun family friendly events include a cherry bomb kids triathlon, car show, family fun zone, sand castle building, games and hot dog eating contest. Each evening is capped off by a giant fireworks show that starts at 10 p.m., so bring your family, lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy! FREE to attend!

Rock the Route

Date: Thursday before Labor Day

Location: Downtown Yukon (Main Street/Route 66)

Hours: 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Celebrate the Mother Road with great music, kids activities, food trucks, and more in downtown Yukon from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Whether you’re a die-hard red dirt or country music fan or just looking for a fun night out with friends or family, Rock the Route brings something for everyone.

Stirling Classic Scottish Festival

Date: May

Location: Mollie Spencer Farm

The Highlands of Scotland travel to Yukon for one special weekend of family fun with Celtic flair. This celebration features authentic Scottish dancing, music, food, genealogy services, merchandise and the historical highland game competitions.

Oklahoma Czech Festival

Date: First weekend of October

Location: Downtown Yukon (Main Street/Route 66)

Hours: Hours Vary

The first weekend in October, the Oklahoma Czech Festival, a Yukon tradition, celebrates the town’s rich Czech cultural heritage. Festivities begin on Friday night with a carnival in downtown, followed by one of Oklahoma’s largest parades on Saturday morning. Following the parade delicious Czech foods including Czech kolaches and klobasy can be found at the Czech Building along with Polka bands and traditional folk dancing.

Chisholm Trail Festival

Date: Mid October

Location: Mollie Spencer Farm

Hours: 9 am – 5 pm

The family-oriented event celebrates the western history of the famous Chisholm Trail. Activities include living history re-enactors, variety of food trucks, live entertainment, contests and games for the kids, Civil War demonstrations, pony rides, petting zoo, pumpkin patch and much more!

Pumpkin Harvest Craft Festival

Date: First Saturday in November

Location: Jackie Cooper Gym – 1024 E. Main St

Hours: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The festival features over 45 crafters, from across the state selling home decor, candles, wood crafts, needlework and you won’t want to miss the popular Pumpkin Patch Café, with mouth watering pumpkin muffins, as well as the Friends of the Park Bake Sale. FREE admission!

Christmas in the Park

Date: The Saturday before Thanksgiving through December 31

Location: City Park, 2200 S. Holly Ave. and Chisholm Trail Park, 500 W. Vandament

Hours: 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. – nightly

Christmas in the Park is Oklahoma’s premiere Christmas lights tour. Drive, walk, or ride the Santa Express Train along the trail of illuminated fun to enjoy a beautiful presentation of light, movement, and music. Visit the food trucks or take a spin on the ice rink in Chisholm Trail Park. Be amazed at the over 500 lighted displays and over 5 million Christmas lights twinkling across 100 acres of three interconnecting city parks. FREE admission!
